Summer Camp Counselor

Part Time Summer Camp Counselor needed for 10 weeks of Adventure Summer Camp at Journey Gymnastics! 15 - 35 hours per week.
This is the perfect summer job for a teacher! Applicants over 24 years of age with a valid drivers license and are willing to drive a 14 passenger van is preferred.
Your job as a camp counselor will be to keep the kids safe and acting as a positive role model while having fun right along with them.
Previous experience working with school aged children is preferred.
If you are high energy and great with kids, this is the summer job for you! Job Responsibilities: -Supervising camp attendees during various activities including gym time, field trips, swimming, group games, etc.
-Helping to facilitate group games and outdoor activities to keep children engaged and having fun.
-Transporting children to and from activities in a 14 passenger van.
-Parent communication regarding the child's day and any problems or concerns.
Requirements: -Upbeat, outgoing and friendly attitude -Excellent driving record -Previous experience working with children in a school, camp or coaching setting preferred -CPR, Water safety and abuse recognition training required (we provide training) -Must be available to work nearly all 10 weeks of summer camp May 28th - Aug 9th (No camp week of July 1st - 5th) Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Salary: $12.
