Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Assist with basic caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and potty training
- Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior
- Create a structured and engaging classroom or daycare environment
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Skills:
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or childcare is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care and activities for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
