Teacher

We are looking for a 3's teacher and an aftercare part-time assistant.
As an teacher, your primary responsibilities are: Implementation and evaluation of a high-quality, flexible and innovative age- appropriate early childhood program; and applying creative curriculum.
* Delivering nurturing care and continuous supervision of assigned children.
* Maintaining the upkeep of classrooms and equipment inside and outside.
* Building positive relationships with and practicing open and honest communication with parents, co-workers, and Explorers management; completing daily reports.
* Consistently interacting in a positive developmentally appropriate way with the children; role modeling appropriate behavior and language for children.
* Providing age-appropriate experiences and activities for children, including storytelling, games and songs.
*Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:* * Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and child development philosophies and practices.
* Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to young children.

Pay is based on years of teaching experience in early childhood and education.
