Lead Shop Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Lead Mechanic to join our team.
The Lead Mechanic will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair of forklifts, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
Duties: - Supervise and provide guidance to a team of mechanics - Diagnose mechanical issues and develop appropriate repair plans - Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues - Order parts and maintain inventory levels - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines - Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs Requirements: - Proven experience as a mechanic, with at least 4 years in a leadership role - Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components - Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment - Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred Join our team as a Lead Mechanic and contribute your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our vehicle fleet.
