Job Summary
FSI is looking to hire a contract maintenance manager to join our team.
The Contract Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the performance of all operations, maintenance, repair, and facility management support tasks and functions.
The CMM shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract.
Responsibilities include the following.

Supervise a diversified work force responsible for 24-hour (24/7/365) operations, maintenance, and repair of medical facility systems.
Coordinate closely with customer FM in providing reports, scheduling services, sharing program status, and making best practice recommendations.
Ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements.
Resolve conflicts, identified deficiencies, and issues following reporting and corrective action requirements.
Maintain program documentation and records for The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, contract deliverables and plans, training, staff certifications and licenses, and permits.
Provide subcontractor and vendor management, including performance reviews and necessary follow-up actions.
Hires, fires, and disciplines project employees.
Assess employee incentive awards.
Responsible for support staff coordination and ensuring required supervision of Contractor personnel is present during normal and other-than-normal duty hours.
Attend all meetings that involve interests or support as related to PWS when representation is requested by another base activity.
Ensure that all employees are properly trained and licensed, if required, prior to their appointment to a position or prior to operating equipment associated with a position.
Ensure that supervisors and managers schedule and provide training as specified in the PWS.
Ensures that all personnel assigned in each function secure and account for all Government property issued, that proper maintenance is performed, and that all applicable Security Control Plans are followed.
Respond to Government requirements which occur throughout the life of the contract, including contract requirements for data accumulation and submission.
Reports directly to the Regional Project Manager.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
The CMM shall be technically qualified in the field of Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Management and shall have, as a minimum, five (5) years of experience in medical/health care (bedded-inpatient) facility operations and maintenance, including the supervision of a diversified work force responsible for 24-hour (24/7/365) operations, maintenance, and repair of medical or commercial facility infrastructure systems.
The CMM shall have at least 5 years of experience with The Joint Commission compliance (maintenance and documentation [including all DMLSS-FM/LogiCole work requests and all supporting testing/certification/verification (in-house or subcontracted) documentation] requirements for Environment of Care (EOC) and Life Safety (LS) compliance) as required for healthcare facilities.
The CMM shall be familiar with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the PWS, TJC, NFPA, EPA, and OSHA codes and standards.
An American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification for the CMM is desirable and will be considered a benefit to the Government if the contractor has expressed a commitment to maintaining this CMM attribute throughout the full contract term.
The CMM shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
An American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification for the CMM is desirable.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record.
Must possess or be able to obtain a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries).
