Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs for appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist in coordinating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Skills:
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing
- Experience with IV infusion and IV insertion
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Familiarity with acute pain management techniques
- Understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to perform physical examinations and lift patients when necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in [state]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
