```Duties``` As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest level of care for our senior residents.
Your duties will include: - Providing direct patient care and administering medications as needed - Assessing and monitoring the health status of residents - Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans - Supervising and mentoring nursing staff - Assisting with physical examinations and medical procedures - Managing and coordinating resident care activities - Providing education and health coaching to residents and their families - Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation - Responding to emergencies and providing airway management, catheter care, and other necessary interventions ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should have the following skills: - Experience in senior care, particularly in an assisted living or memory care setting - Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and performing medical procedures - Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and ability to accurately document patient information - Ability to ventilate patients as needed - Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively supervise a team of nurses - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families - Health coaching abilities to educate residents on healthy lifestyle choices - In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide comprehensive care If you are a dedicated nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care to seniors, we would love to hear from you.
