JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care for any residents assigned Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse Lift, move, and transfer residents as required Answer call lights in a timely manner Assist or feed residents Keep residents clean and dry by providing toileting or incontinent care Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents Understand and adhere to the guidelines of “Residents Rights” and assure resident safety Other duties as assigned
