Duties
Make routine radiographic examinations of skull, thoracic, abdominal, spinal, and extremities for diagnosis of illness or injuries.
Operate portable radiographic equipment and performs operating room radiography.
Perform procedures such as urography, hysterosalpingography, myelography, venography, arteriography, gastrointestinal studies, and other special procedures at the direction of a radiologist.
Set up the x-ray room and assure that sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters or other required equipment are present and laid out.
Prepare and administer contrast material orally, by enema, or, under close control of radiologist, intravenously.
Perform examinations of head, trunk and extremities for routine physical examinations and for diagnosis of illness or injuries.
