Now Hiring *Auto Service Technician (flag-hour)* *No degree required* Qualifications * Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
* Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
* Authorization to work in the USA.
* Previous technician/mechanic service is required.
* Willingness to listen, learn, and work hard.
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to understand workshop manuals and record repair information in the repair orders.
Responsibilities * Maintain the requisite technical knowledge and skill to efficiently and accurately service and repair vehicles.
* Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as outlined on the repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
* Perform inspections to identify any needed repairs or preventative maintenance needs.
* Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
* Communicate with service advisor/dispatcher regarding repair status.
* Document all work performed on the repair order using the dealer management system.
* Maintain the highest possible standards of workmanship.
* Road-test vehicles before and after the repair, when applicable.
* Maintain cleanliness with customer’s vehicles.
* Maintain shop cleanliness.
* Participate in service training activities and factory-sponsored training classes.
* Follow established safety protocols; report any shop equipment in improper working condition, immediately report safety incidents.
* Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions.
* Possess general tools to perform the tasks assigned according to your job-role.
* Any other tasks as assigned by management.
