Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Industrial/Manufacturing

We are currently looking for a Full-time Mechanical Maintenance Technician! MUST have strong mechanical background, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Experience with hydraulics & pneumatics strongly preferred! LOCATION: Temple, TX PAY: $25-36/hr DOE HOURS: FT (rotating schedule) + overtime BENEFITS: Full benefits package – details below! RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on our industrial manufacturing equipment (conveyors, presses, llifts, .
Assists with diagnosing and troubleshooting problems and/or downtime on all equipment.
Replaces parts and components and makes other necessary repairs to machinery.
May perform tasks such as fabrication, assembly/disassembly of equipment, measuring, cutting, burning, welding, and pipefitting.
Reads, understands and applies mechanical and structural blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams, and circuitry.
REQUIREMENTS HS diploma or GED One years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Certifications or education from an accredited trade school may substitute for experience.
MUST be able to work a rotating schedule (2-3 weeks on day shift, 1 week on evening, then 1 week on graveyard) Experience with hydraulics and/or pneumatics is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of safe and proper usage of hand/power tools, including welders, cutting torches, and plasma cutters.
Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams (hydraulic & pneumatic), and equipment manuals.
Job requires tasks that involve pushing/pulling and lifting of 50+ pounds, and standing/climbing in an 8hr shift.
