CSC Customer/Patient Service Rep I: \*Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident \*Minimum 6 months contract.
Payrate: $18.
00/hr Shift: 1st Shift - *Thursday - Monday* :_ *9:00 AM – 5:30 PM*_ JOB SUMMARY: Customer/Administrative Support- This includes *answering phones for public and internal (employee, patient, visitor) *customers: documentation and dispatch of work requests.
Ability to assist in special projects.
DUTIES: * Proficient in ALL *phone and work request dispatch responsibilities.
* * Monitors environmental alarms: doors, gates, parking lot intercoms & CCTV.
* Assists with the *workflow and assignments* for patient transporters.
Leads or participates in projects in support of the department.
* Responsible for providing feedback to leadership regarding ways to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and to maximize the performance of the department.

* Performs all position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
* Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a *positive and welcoming experience* * Answer phone calls and *schedule appointments* using the office's phone system * Provide *medical administrative support *by *verifying patient information, collecting co-pays*, and updating patient records * Assist with *medical records managemen*t, including filing, scanning, and retrieving patient documents * Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality * Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations of the medical office * Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and *Epic system *to accurately document patient information KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Ability to handle difficult situations; providing *conflict resolution* if necessary.
Excellent customer service skills.
-Ability to read and write in the English language.
-Proficiency with the *Microsoft Office Suite of software.
* -Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos and other forms of verbal and written communications.
-Ability to be successful in a stressful, fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS : > Experience in an *administrative support *role and/or *customer service preferred.
* *> Healthcare, call center, or dispatch service experience* preferred.
Patient Services Representative - Previous experience as a *medical receptionist *or in a similar role is preferred - Proficiency in using *phone systems *and other office equipment - Strong *organizational skills* with attention to detail - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with *Epic system* is a plus - Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with *HIPAA guideline*s Join our team as a Patient Services Representative and contribute to providing exceptional care to our patients.
