Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and oversee the nursing staff
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including providing guidance and support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of dialysis procedures, health coaching, Athenahealth software, hospice care, catheterization, sterile processing, diagnostic evaluation, IV insertion, critical care, and medical imaging
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
