This is a true touring bike.
I took it from Amarillo, TX to Weslaco, TX (747 miles).
We have taken it to the Big Bend National Park and Colorado, onto Utah.
The Shad saddle bags and trunk are all huge (way more storage than what I have on my 2018 Honda Goldwing).
If you haven't ridden a CTX700, they are exceptionally maneuverable on twisty roads.
The 6-speed double-clutch transmission (in essence, an automatic transmission) makes riding effortless, especially in heavy, stop-and-go traffic.
It is great for riding in the city and for touring through many states.
