Vintage Rogers Dyna-Sonic Snare Drum - $350 (Georgetown)

I bought this Rogers “Five Line” Dyna-Sonic Chrome over Brass 14-inch by 5-inch snare drum brand new in 1971.
Serial Number 24551 was manufactured in Fullerton, CA in 1970.
This drum has seen a lot of bandstands, but it hasn’t been played much since the late 1970’s.
Since then, it has always been kept in a climate controlled, smoke free, pet free environment.
This Dyna-Sonic snare is in excellent condition for its age.
There is pitting on the throw-off and a little pitting on the top hoop, otherwise, only light pitting here and there.
There are no dents or dings.
The internal muffler works perfectly.
The drum comes with a brand-new Remo Controlled Sound batter head and a brand-new Remo Diplomat resonate head.
I have the original Rogers resonate head, but not the original batter.
I installed a new Dyna-Sonic snare basket with wires and will include the original basket (missing 1 plastic “foot”) and snare wires as well.
