Trying to find a forever home for my Dachshund mix Wally.
I found him as a stray about 2.
Vet thinks he's between 3-4 years old.
He's good with cats that are good with him.
Same with dogs.
Though it takes him a bit to get used to new dogs.
Although he's food aggressive with my dogs (growling, staring), there have never been fights.
Wally would be fine with older kids.
I would say he plays too rough with little ones.
He's extremely protective of "his favorite person", jealous and hogs all the attention.
Wally knows sit and is good on the leash.
He loves playing ball, tug-o-war and chewing Nylabones.
Also getting the stuffing out of toys.
Wally is neutered, just got all of his shots and a nail trim in October.
He also has a lifetime free microchip (at the time of your adoption, we would switch it over to you).
I'm rehoming him because I've taken a different job in March and it's too far away to come home during lunch to let him out.
Not only can't his tiny bladder handle me being gone this long, but he also seems extremely unhappy and it shows physically and emotionally.
My two older dogs handle my absence much better.
Rehoming $80, located in Killeen.
