Ferrets (killeen)

For anyone interested in adopting ferrets now or ever please be aware of adrenal disease and insulinoma in ferrets, the two most common health issues with ferrets.
Adrenal is very physically noticeable with hair loss, without implants they will die a premature death and implants last anywhere from 6 months to a year and cost $150-$300 per implant.
Insulinoma in ferrets works the same way in humans, they also have medicine for that (given daily).
Not positive on the costs of that but also expect it to be expensive.
Ferrets require a bit of medical care or they typically die prematurely.
