Mixed Breed Pup (Temple, TX)

This is Otis.
Otis was dumped at my house back in July of 2023.
He was starving and so scared.
Since we got him he has been chipped, neutered, and brought up to date on all shots.
He is potty trained and knows a few basic commands.
He really is the best boy.
The vet estimates he is somewhere between 2-3 and he's roughly 45 pounds now.
He's so gentle but any super quick moments towards him or loud noises he'll head straight for his kennel.
Myself and my daughter both LOVE Otis and won't let him go to anyone who we feel isn't a good fit.
So why are we rehoming? Well Otis has always been scared of my husband, just his presence is enough for Otis to go hang out in his kennel.
This isn't all males as he is great with my dad and my neighbor both so we figure my husband just looks like someone that used to beat him.
We have given it time but Otis hasn't came around at all unfortunately.
We feel Otis would love more time outside of his kennel and think it's only fair to him to find a family that could provide that.
He loves kids and other dogs (never been around cats since I've had him).
I'll send him with all of his belongings.
