Customer Service Representative/Insurance Agent
Position Purpose:
ALPA Auto Insurance is looking for talented individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our fast paced call center team, as a Customer Service Representative / Insurance Sales Agent.
As a CSR / Sales Agent you will work with a team that shares your desire to win while helping thousands of Texans find.

Job Responsibilities:
Strong listening, oral and written communications/interpersonal skills
Selling insurance policies to businesses and individuals in an inside sales environment -Ensure excellent service by explaining features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans
Contact underwriter and submit forms to bind coverage
Perform administrative tasks, such as completing paperwork, filing, maintaining records and handling policy renewals daily
Goal oriented: highly motivated insurance sales representative that is resourceful to achieve results with a sense of urgency
Problem solving ability: apply and balance conceptual and analytical thinking by breaking down complex problems, evaluating alternative sources of action and their likely outcomes, and selecting the best alternative
Pay close attention to detail and accuracy
Create and maintain business relationships with prospects and policyholders
Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
Perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands
Overcome objections and close the sale
Education/Licensing:
High School Diploma or GED
Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred
Basic knowledge of Insurance Industry, is a plus
Hold a valid and current County Mutual, Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
Experience/Successful Requirements:
Good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced written communication skills (spelling, grammar, and punctuation) and verbal communications skills.
Able to work independently with minimal / no supervision.
Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
Ability to quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software is necessary.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
