The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies.

Compensation:
$75,000 - $200,000 per year
Responsibilities:
Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders
Devote an unprecedented level of personal attention when implementing a range of effective sales strategies proven to maintain and grow long-term customer base
Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles
Set meetings with new and potential clients to listen to their needs, taking into account their financial statuses and stage-of-life priorities, and present insurance plan options tailored to their individual circumstances
Sell 3-6 homes per month
Goal and action-oriented, with the ability and desire to work towards activity and sales targets
High level of comfort with outreach directly to prospective clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage one-on-one as well as an audience
Persistence, drive, and ability to work proactively
Team player and team-spirited
Qualifications:
Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office programs
High school diploma mandatory; four-year undergraduate degree strongly preferred
Some experience with accounting or sales lead software is beneficial
Excellent communication, customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills are necessary
Candidates must have an insurance license
6 or more years of commercial insurance experience
Current P&C license in the resident state
Professional phone etiquette
Ability to work with multiple potential customers and be prompt on all associated follow-ups
Strong work ethic and leadership skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Strong team player and ability to work independently as needed to achieve individual and team-based goals
