- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking through engaging activities
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other necessary documentation
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
- Familiarity with special education strategies for students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child
- Knowledge of child welfare guidelines and regulations for maintaining a safe environment
- Experience in physical education activities suitable for preschoolers
