Job Description: Nanny
Location: 76502
*Children: *2; 2 YO and newborn (will be 3 months when mom returns to work)
*Hours:* Guaranteed 11 hrs/wk, up to 22 hrs/wk; any days between Wednesday and Friday 6A-5P; schedule will be given ahead of time.
*Desired Start Date:* ASAP
*Length of Employment:* at least 1 year, family is looking for long-term help.
*Hourly Wage:* $22/hr
*Benefits: *5 days PTO, 5 paid sick days
*Desired Nanny Characteristics: *friendly, compassionate, hard worker, caring; must be open to a flexible working schedule.
*Nanny Responsibilities:* Full care of the children, including feeding, naps, and clean/sterilize bottles and dishes; plan age-appropriate developmental activities that involve no screen time; play outside, go on walks; bathe children; responsible for children’s laundry; keep their rooms, kitchen, and living room clean and tidy; let 3 dogs out to potty as needed and make sure they have food/water.
The nanny will not be required to travel with the family.
*Special Considerations:* Family requires annual flu vaccine; must be comfortable, patient, and proactive with ensuring safe behaviors as the toddler resorts to head banging when upset; must have experience with speech delays.
*Pets:* 3 dogs
Qualifications:
- 2 years' previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- First aid and CPR certification REQUIRED
- Flu vaccine REQUIRED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
