We are a veteran-owned specialty coffee roasting company that is currently expanding our operations.
We are opening our first cafe in Lampasas, TX and are looking for candidates to fill two Supervisor positions, as well as several Part-Time Barista/Cashiers.
We will prepare and serve Craft Coffee and other beverages, as well as quick-service Breakfast and Lunch items to customers in the cafe and through our drive-thru window.
We expect this to be a fast-paced environment and to do a high-volume of high-quality food and beverages.
We will prepare our offerings “In-House” as much as possible, to include Coffee Roasting, Coffee Preparation, Baking, and Food Preparation.
Managers, Staff, and Customers are all vital components to our vision of success.

Food and Beverage Safety: Must possess or be willing to get an appropriate Texas Food Handler/Manager Safety Certification.
Must be willing and able to practice/enforce Safe Food and Beverage Handling Practices.

Customer Service and Cash Handling Experience: preferably in the Food and Beverage Industry.
Should have experience dealing with the public and meeting their needs, accepting payments and processing transactions.
Must possess a desire and ability to get to know the customers, understand their needs, and deliver our products which best fits those needs.
Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Building is our Primary Concern.
Barista Experience: preferably with Specialty Grade Coffees.
Working knowledge of Brew Variables of various extraction and preparation methods to include: Drip Coffee, Espresso, Pour Overs, French Press and Cold Brew.
Must be willing to become proficient at Steaming Milk into Microfoam and pouring Latte Art.
Supervisors must be willing to develop Sensory Perception skills to dial-in coffees to taste.
Must currently posses the above skills or be willing and able to ramp-up to these skills with training.
Must be willing to keep a clean and orderly workspace, do dishes and buss tables and other tasks as assigned.
Baking/Food Prep Experience: preferably in an establishment that prepares and serves Made-From-Scratch menu items, such as pastries, cookies, sandwiches, soups and/or salads.
Experience following a kitchen prep schedule, recipes and build sheets, and preparing menu items according to company standards.
Must be willing to deliver food to counter, drive-thru, or table depending on the situation.
Must be willing to keep a clean and orderly workspace, do dishes, and help buss tables and other tasks as assigned.
Leadership and Communication Experience: 1-2 years – in some capacity.
Has shown the ability to lead others by being the Example.
Leaders set the Standard for the Organization by their Attitude and Actions.
You must be aware of What you Say and What you Do, because the Staff will be Listening and Watching.
They will pick up cues from you as to how to conduct themselves.
Must conduct yourself in a Professional Manner.
Inappropriate Comments and Behaviors from Leadership will not be tolerated.
Must be Fair and Equitable in the treatment of Customers and Staff.
Must demonstrate a high level of Proficiency and be capable of Training, Supervising, and Ensuring Company Standards are always met.
