Work involves establishing goals and objectives; developing guidelines, procedures, and policies; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals; coordinating and evaluating business function, division, or department activities; developing and evaluating budget requests; and monitoring budget expenditures.
Supervises the work of others.
Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Central Counties Services incorporates principles of trauma-informed care, which includes cultural sensitivity, in all areas of service delivery.

Manages day-to-day activities of the YES Waiver Dept.
Develops and approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals Evaluates budget requests, monitors budget expenditures, and makes adjustments as necessary.
Provides input in the development of new policies and procedures & monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
Provides technical expertise and guidance regarding questions related to the department.
Identifies areas of needed change and makes recommendations to improve operations.
Prepares management and productivity reports.
May plan and develop a budget for a business function, division, or department.
Supervises the work of others.
May maintain a caseload dependent upon department needs and availability.
Develops and maintains effective relationships with community members, stakeholders and community agencies.
Assures program productivity is maintained by monitoring performance contract reports.
Assures program quality is maintained by conducting peer review activities, analyzing consumer satisfaction surveys, informal and formal feedback and external reviews.
May participate in regional and state initiatives and committees.
If assigned supervisory responsibilities, supervisor shall apply the principles, techniques and procedures of Positive Coaching in order to increase collaboration and build job skills, meeting with employees on a scheduled basis, depending on the position at least monthly or quarterly to provide formal coaching.
Demonstrate high ethical standards, trustworthiness, and personal integrity.
Regular attendance, dependability, and promptness are required for the 8-5 workday or agreed upon hours 100% of the time, to ensure consistency and completeness of program’s processes.
Professional Development - Successfully complete training required to maintain skill competency and cross training to ensure consistency across program procedures.
Complete continuing education as required by professional standards and the Center.
Must stay compliant with all required training.
Frequent daily driving within the catchment area is required.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Experience/Education/Licensing/Certification Experience in a field relating to the agency program.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course work in a field relevant to the assignment is required to include psychology, sociology, social worker and like fields; Master’s in related field preferred.
Experience and education may not be substituted for one another.
Preferred Requirements: Supervisory and administrative experience working with individuals with a mental illness and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorder in a hospital or emergency setting.
Clinical Texas licensure preferred as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist (LP).
Three (3) years of experience in program management experience in a similar setting or advanced senior level clinical duties and advanced post graduate education/training in mental health and the law.

Relationship Skills Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
