Position Overview The Total Rewards Manager to provide compensation and benefits expertise and support to the HR organization and all US and international employees.
The Manager will handle compensation for approximately 2,500+ staff.
This role will ensure that Wilsonart is paying competitively to attract, engage and retain high performing employees.
The Total Rewards Manager serves as a key team member to partner with managers and HR team members across the organization for compensation mentorship.
This role will be responsible for the design and development of benefits plans/programs.
Core responsibilities of the job include managing health and welfare programs, 401(k) plan, ACA compliance requirements, employee benefits data, and internal and external data analytics.
The Manager will also administer the leave of absence and disability programs, and lead benefit operations and initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities Recommend employee benefit programs by examining, evaluating, and optimizing employee understanding, acceptance, and interests, costs, regulatory requirements, and competitive advantage.
Determine employee interest by conducting employee surveys and analyzing responses.
Explain employee benefits by conducting meetings, preparing written and graphic announcements and explanations, and responding to requests.
Provide HR management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing employee benefit data and trends.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ADA, Section 125, FMLA, and state specific benefit and leave-related laws.
Respond to inquiries and ensure benefit policies and administrative practices and processes are in compliance.
Participate in discussions with vendors and follow through on fee negotiations, risk areas, plan design, etc.
Conducts compensation analysis and market pricing of roles to proactively ensure Wilsonart is paying competitively.
Modifies compensation structures and conducts equity analysis of roles in response to changing organizational needs, market values and geographic differentials.
Ensures job development follows career framework/architecture including the development of job descriptions and maintaining of systems.
Partners with Human Resources and Business Leaders on the program.
Partners with Human Resources to train on effective use of career framework/architecture and compensation offerings.
Evaluates new job requests to identify alignment with existing jobs or determine need for new job including a review of existing structure as well as a market analysis and determination of FLSA status.
As needed, partners with Human Resources and Business Leaders to provide thought leadership for new hire offers, promotions and during the merit process.
Participates in salary surveys and analyzes results to determine organization's market relationship including administration of compensation systems and tools.
Participates in Workday set up and analysis of data for compensation.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years meaningful work experience.
Solid understanding of state and federal laws and regulations relating to compensation and benefits.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills and a detailed knowledge of compensation administration.
Able to communicate optimally with internal and external customers of all levels, including executives.
High Level of Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Data Mining High degree of attention to detail Strong cross-functional abilities with multi-faceted analysis and ad-hoc analysis skills
